Tournaments
Make sure you enter golf tournaments and competitions as soon as you can!
Entering these are a great way to improve and also to have fun and make more golfing friends.
Most golf clubs hold informal tournaments on a regular basis and also run a “Junior Open” each year, so if you are a member of a club, check out the dates in advance and make sure you get your form in on time. You can enter junior opens at any golf club, you don’t have to be a member there. The best thing to do is find out all the opens that are in your County as it can be very time consuming if you have to travel a long way.
I have put all the dates of the juniors opens in Sussex on the Golf Events page. You can also see them on the Sussex Golf website below where you can then visit the invidual websites of the clubs to dowload a copy of the entry form.
Other events

You can search for lots of competitions and junior opens that are run by other organisations, not just golf clubs.
